Due amici che parlano lingue diverse si incontrano nel deserto e attraverso la musica si scambiano i loro mondi sotto l'ombra di un albero di hennè. Creano un dialogo libero, improvvisano. Le corde della kora e del piano intrecciano un racconto fuori dal tempo in cui sullo sfondo dell'antica tradizione musicale maliana risuonano echi di blues, armonie rinascimentali e reminiscenze caraibiche.
Diario Mali c'est l'histoire d'un voyage.
Deux amis qui parlent deux langues differents se rencontrent dans le désert et, à travers la musique, échangent leur mondes au-dessous de l'ombre d'un arbre de henné. Les cordes de la kora et du piano nouent un conte hors du temps qui, sur le fond de l'ancienne tradtion musicale malienne, mélange échos de blues, harmonies Renaissance et reminiscences caraïbes.
Diario Mali: a journey
Two friends who speak different languages, from different worlds; they meet in the desert and make each other a gift of their music in the shade of a henna tree. They create a free-flowing dialogue, they improvise.... the string of the kora and the piano keys-weave a story beyond time.
With traditional Mali music in the background they melt echoes of blues, renaissance harmonies and carribean beats.
